COMMON QUESTIONS

Straight answers.

View all FAQs
What types of files do you review?

Denied, underpaid, stalled, or partially approved roof claims with documented issues. We screen for documentation, policy issues, economics, deadlines, and an evidence-supported recovery path. Not every file qualifies.

Does this cost me anything to submit?

No. Initial intake and completeness review are free. The policyholder is the only permitted payer for representation; the roofing company does not pay the public-adjuster fee. Transparent flat-fee terms are provided in writing before any engagement begins. Fees are subject to the signed engagement agreement and applicable Texas compensation limits.

What documents should I send?

The policy, carrier decision or denial letter, carrier and contractor estimates, photographs, inspection reports, payment documents, and relevant correspondence. Send what you have with the homeowner’s authorization; we will identify gaps.

What happens after I submit a file?

We review the information, identify missing documents, and determine whether the file appears appropriate for further evaluation. Timing depends on file completeness and complexity. Submission does not create representation.

Do you work with my customer directly?

Yes. The homeowner independently decides whether to request a review and contracts directly with FlatRatePA.com if the claim is accepted. Your company keeps its construction relationship. Information is shared only with appropriate authorization.

When are the fee and terms explained?

Transparent flat-fee terms are provided in writing before any engagement begins. The initial review is free. The homeowner receives the scope, payment timing, and terms before deciding whether to sign.
