Independent professionals have separate costs.

Appraiser, umpire, engineer, laboratory, and testing costs are set by those providers and paid by the policyholder. They are separate from the flat fee and disclosed before anyone is engaged.

The precise trigger, fee amount, payment timing, prior-payment treatment, depreciation treatment, withdrawal provisions, and statutory cap are defined in the signed engagement agreement. The invoiced fee never exceeds the applicable Texas compensation ceiling.

Are expert costs included?

No. Appraiser, umpire, engineering, laboratory, and testing fees are separate and paid by the policyholder. They are disclosed before anyone is engaged.

What if I cancel?

Withdrawal and cancellation terms are defined in the written engagement agreement and applicable Texas compensation limits.
