Independent professionals have separate costs.
Appraiser, umpire, engineer, laboratory, and testing costs are set by those providers and paid by the policyholder. They are separate from the flat fee and disclosed before anyone is engaged.

The precise trigger, fee amount, payment timing, prior-payment treatment, depreciation treatment, withdrawal provisions, and statutory cap are defined in the signed engagement agreement. The invoiced fee never exceeds the applicable Texas compensation ceiling.

Is the fee refunded if my settlement does not increase?
If the final documented settlement does not exceed the settlement baseline established and recorded at signing, the policyholder receives a full refund of the $500 FlatRatePA fee. If the final documented settlement exceeds that recorded baseline, the $500 fee is not refunded under this guarantee. Third-party appraiser, umpire, engineer, laboratory, and testing costs are separate, paid by the policyholder, and excluded from the fee refund.
Is the initial review free?
Yes. The initial file review is free. Representation begins only after qualification and a signed engagement agreement.
When is the fee due?
$500 flat fee, due in full once your file is accepted and you sign the engagement agreement.
Is this a percentage of my settlement?
No. The flat fee, timing, scope, and applicable compensation limits are stated in your written engagement agreement.
Are expert costs included?

What if I cancel?
Withdrawal and cancellation terms are defined in the written engagement agreement and applicable Texas compensation limits.
